Genetics-Edge provides genetic-based wellness education, personalized reporting, and health coaching support only.

Genetics-Edge does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or crisis intervention.

Services are educational and informational in nature and are not a substitute for professional medical care.

Participation does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–patient, or clinician–patient relationship.

Clients are encouraged to work with their physician or licensed healthcare provider for all medical concerns

2. Genetic Information & DNA Policy

Genetic insights provided through Genetics-Edge:

Are based on current scientific research, which may evolve over time

Reflect predispositions and tendencies, not guarantees

Do not predict health outcomes with certainty

Genetics-Edge may use third-party platforms (including OmicsEdge) to generate genetic reports and insights. Use of third-party platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Clients retain ownership of their genetic data, subject to third-party platform requirements.

3. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

Information provided through Genetics-Edge:

Is not medical advice

Does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease

Should not be used to make medication changes or clinical decisions without physician supervision

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.

4. Emergency & Mental Health Policy

Genetics-Edge does not provide emergency, urgent, or crisis care services.

If you experience:

A medical emergency

Severe or worsening symptoms

Suicidal thoughts, panic, or emotional distress

You agree to seek immediate assistance from emergency services or a licensed healthcare professional. Genetics-Edge is not responsible for emergency intervention or crisis response.

5. Client Responsibility Policy

Clients are solely responsible for:

Their health decisions, behaviors, and lifestyle choices

How they interpret and implement the information provided

Consulting appropriate healthcare providers when needed

Participation in Genetics-Edge Services is voluntary. Clients assume all risks associated with lifestyle changes or actions they choose to take.

6. Communication & Response Time Policy

Genetics-Edge communicates primarily via email and scheduled sessions.

Typical response time is 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays

Genetics-Edge does not provide on-demand or 24/7 support

Messages sent outside business hours will be addressed during the next business day

Genetics-Edge does not offer emergency or real-time messaging support.

7. Scope of Services & Additional Requests Policy

Services are limited to what is explicitly included in the client’s purchased package.

Requests outside the agreed scope—such as additional report reviews, extended research, unscheduled consultations, or extensive messaging—may require an additional fee or a separate agreement.

8. Client Conduct Policy

Genetics-Edge is committed to providing a respectful, professional environment.

Abusive, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward Genetics-Edge or its representatives may result in termination of Services without refund.

9. Client-Provided Information Policy

Genetics-Edge relies on information provided by clients, including health history, lifestyle details, questionnaires, and self-reported data.

Genetics-Edge is not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or outcomes resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated client-provided information.

10. Appointments, Scheduling & Attendance Policy

Appointments must be scheduled in advance

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule

Appointments may be rescheduled a maximum of one (1) time

Missed appointments or late arrivals (10+ minutes) may be forfeited

Clients will pay $250 for a 2nd missed appointment

Unused sessions may expire based on the client’s package support window.

11. Processing Times & Delays Policy

Timelines for:

DNA processing

Genetic report generation

Third-party platform access

Are estimates only. Delays may occur due to laboratory processing, sample quality, technical issues, or vendor availability. Delays do not constitute a breach of service and do not qualify for refunds unless stated otherwise in writing.

12. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy

All fees are due according to the agreed payment plan.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

No refunds are issued once onboarding, intake, genetic data review, or report preparation has begun

DNA kits, laboratory services, and third-party processing fees are non-refundable once initiated

Coaching services are non-refundable once delivered

Clients are responsible for all applicable taxes.

13. Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

Genetics-Edge takes reasonable measures to protect client information.

Information may be shared:

With client consent

With authorized third-party vendors (such as OmicsEdge) to deliver Services

When required by law, court order, or legal obligation

Electronic communication (email or text) is not guaranteed to be secure. Clients consent to electronic communication by participating in Services.

14. Session Recording Policy

Coaching sessions may be recorded for documentation, quality assurance, training, or internal review purposes.

Recordings are treated as confidential and handled in accordance with Genetics-Edge privacy practices.

15. Intellectual Property Policy

All Genetics-Edge materials—including reports, frameworks, guides, handouts, and educational content—are proprietary.

Clients may not copy, distribute, resell, or publish Genetics-Edge materials without prior written permission.

16. Results Disclaimer

Individual results vary.

Genetics-Edge does not guarantee specific outcomes, timelines, or health improvements. Results depend on many factors, including personal participation, consistency, genetics, environment, and external variables.

17. Technology & Platform Availability Policy

Access to digital platforms, reports, or portals may occasionally be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

Temporary outages or platform limitations do not constitute a breach of service.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, Genetics-Edge is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in Services.

Clients accept responsibility for their decisions, actions, and outcomes.

19. Governing Law

These Policies are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

20. Policy Updates

Genetics-Edge reserves the right to update these Policies at any time.

Updated versions will be posted on the Genetics-Edge website or client portal. Continued participation in Services constitutes acceptance of updated Policies.
